Diwali is the celebration of light. Glowing Diwali lamps dispel all darkness, usher in hope and the magic of living. This year, the lamps are like pathway lights, flickering through countless deaths and unimaginable heartbreaks, perhaps leading us to illumination.
This Diwali my lamps will burn with gratitude.
Here are my Diwali musings
Let there be light…doesn’t matter which book you belong to
Shadows can teach things that light makes us forget
Let the light not make us inured or unkind
Love is all you need (John got that)
The distance is a delusion, we know now the world is one
There is no safety in things or a great big house
Let go, the travel is not easy and pandemics erupt without warning
Don’t compete about who is in greater pain, we all are
Love, because what else are you going to do tomorrow?
P.S. I wish Diwali could bring back Daniel Craig…*sigh*
I wish for unending light in the lives of all the beautiful people who grace my life.
